Update: Woman Hospitalized After Hitting Herself With Own Car

A 911 call reporting that a pedestrian had been run over by a can sent firefighters rushing to a corner store where they found a woman who had injured herself with her own car, officials say.

Firefighters were sent to 59 North Franklin Street in Lynn.

Firefighters were dispatched to 59 North Franklin Street near Richdale Convenience Store at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, the Lynn Fire Department confirmed to Daily Voice. The injured woman attempted to get something off her windshield, but had not put her car in park.

The woman was transported to Salem Hospital with a non-life threatening leg injury.
